Appliance Handyman is an independent, mobile appliance repair company. A technician comes to your kitchen or laundry room, finds the fault, and quotes before any work starts. We have repaired and installed appliances in houses and condos across Toronto, York, Peel, Durham, and Barrie since 2014.

When an appliance stops working, one of the first things most homeowners do is search for a repair company and hope the person who answers is the person who shows up. That is the idea Appliance Handyman was built on in 2014. We are a small, independent company, and the technicians who take your call are the ones who come to your door.
We work out of a shop in Concord, Ontario, and we come to you. There is no showroom and no drop-in counter. Our vans carry common parts to houses and condos across Toronto, York, Peel, Durham, and Barrie, and the diagnosis happens on your kitchen or laundry room floor, not over the phone.
Over the years, customers have come to know our technicians by name. Edward and Edi show up in reviews because they call ahead, explain what they found, and show you the part before it goes in. That way of working has earned a 4.8 Google rating from 181 reviews and a HomeStars Best of award every year from 2020 to 2024.
We also try to be honest about when a repair is not worth it. If a fridge estimate crosses about $700 on an older unit, we say so and talk through replacement. You decide, with the facts in front of you.

How we work
Here is what you can expect when you book a visit with us, whether it is a warm fridge in a Scarborough house or a stacked washer in a downtown condo.
Our own technicians
A licensed technician from our team comes to your home. We do not sell the job to a third party, so the person on the phone and the person at your door work for the same company.
A clear quote before work starts
We diagnose on site and give you a parts-and-labour quote before anything is opened up. When you go ahead with the repair, the service call is credited to the job.
Honest repair-or-replace advice
If a repair costs more than about half of a comparable new unit and the appliance is past mid-life, we say so. We would rather lose a repair than sell you the wrong one.
Common parts on the truck
Drain pumps, igniters, heating elements, and common Samsung, LG, and Whirlpool laundry parts travel with us, so many jobs finish in one visit.
Insured, with a 3-month warranty
We carry insurance for work in your home, and completed repairs come with a 3-month service warranty. If the same fault returns, we come back.
Houses and condos
Freight elevators, loading docks, and stacked laundry closets are regular work. Tell us the building rules when you book and we plan the visit around them.
What we repair and install
Kitchen and laundry appliances are the work. We repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, cooktops, range hoods, and gas cooking appliances, and we install new units, including Bosch, Miele, Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Thermador kitchen packages.

We do not repair furnaces, air conditioners, or water heaters. If a job is outside what we do, we will tell you on the phone and point you in the right direction.

Where we are based
Our shop and parts stock are at 109 Fernstaff Court, Concord, ON L4K 3M1. It is a working base rather than a storefront, so visits are by appointment only and we do not take drop-offs. We also keep a listing in Bradford for customers north of the city.
Hours are Mon–Fri 8:00am–11:00pm and Sat–Sun 8:00am–10:00pm. Pick the line for your area and a technician comes to you.

If you would like us to take a look, name and phone are enough on the form. Add the city, the appliance, and a photo of the model sticker or error code if you have them. We call back during hours with a visit window.
