How we can help

We come to your home for over-the-range and built-in microwaves repair in Toronto and the GTA. We work in houses and condos. Tell us which one when you book. Call 416-800-9206, or 905-963-0067 in York, Peel, and Durham. Hours are 7am–11pm on weekdays and 7am–10pm on weekends.

We test the machine where it sits and tell you which part failed, in plain words. You approve the parts-and-labour price before we start. We repair that part. We do not replace the control board, the computer that runs the cycle, unless the test shows it is the fault.

If you book the repair, the diagnosis fee is applied to the job. Finished work includes a 3-month warranty. If the quote is close to the price of a new machine, we say so before you approve.

Common problems we see

• No heat

  The light and turntable can run while the microwave does not heat. We test the door switches, the fuse, and the magnetron, which is the part that makes the heat. Then we quote the failed part. A countertop unit is often not worth the parts. We say so before we order anything.

• Turntable or fan stopped

  A dead turntable motor or a fan that will not run is a separate part from the magnetron. We test each one in the cabinet and quote only the part that failed.

• Over-the-range and built-in units

  We repair microwaves that are mounted over the range or built into the cabinet. We need the model sticker and the cabinet opening. We do not haul the unit away unless you ask for an installation of a replacement.

What to expect on the visit

   Tell us the brand, what the machine is doing, and whether laundry is in a closet or a basement in Toronto and the GTA. A photo of the model sticker helps us load the likely part.

   On site we unplug, test with a meter, and pull the unit only as far as the job needs. If the part is on the truck, we finish that day. If it is special-order, you hear the lead time and the price before we leave.

Cost and when to repair or replace

Bake elements, igniters, and sensors are standard repairs when the range or wall oven is otherwise sound. Diagnosis is applied when we complete the job. You get the quote before we pull the range.

A control board on an older oven can cost as much as a new range. We quote the board beside a replacement range so you can decide in your kitchen.
