Appliance installation in Toronto and the GTA
A new appliance that is not levelled, vented, or connected correctly can fail early. We install washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, wall ovens, cooktops, and over-the-range microwaves — including Bosch, Miele, Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Thermador kitchen packages. We haul away the old unit when you ask.

Problems we diagnose
- New washer and dryer hookup
- Fridge water line and ice maker
- Dishwasher install under existing counter
- Range, cooktop, and wall oven fitment
- High-end kitchen package installs
Request a visit if you would like us to take a look. Same-day service is available when you call during hours. Diagnosis is applied to the repair when we complete the job.
How we can help
Store delivery is not the same as a proper install. A big-box truck can drop a washer in the laundry and leave the water lines capped, the dryer unvented, and the old machine in the hallway. That is how warranties get argued and how the first leak starts. We hook up the new unit, level it, test it, and haul the old one when you book haul-away.
We install in your home across Toronto and the GTA. Call 416-800-9206, 905-963-0067, or 705-999-8533. Book the install after you have a delivery window, or book us to meet the delivery if the building allows. Hours are 8am–11pm weekdays and 8am–10pm weekends.
You get a quote for the hookup before we start. If the existing shutoff, electrical, or vent is unsafe, we will point it out before we leave a new appliance running. A store drop-off is not a completed install.
Common problems we see
Washer and dryer hookup after a store drop-off
We connect the hoses to a working shutoff, check the drain height, level the washer, and vent the dryer with a proper transition — not a crushed foil accordion jammed against the wall. Stacked condo units get the kit tightened and the vent checked so the first cycle does not flood the closet. If the shutoff is seized or more than a short run from the machine, we tell you before we cut the old hoses.
Refrigerator water line and ice maker
A fridge that arrives without a water line will not make ice. We run the line, add a shutoff if the valve is missing, flush the filter, and test the ice maker. A puncture in a cheap plastic line behind a French-door unit can flood the kitchen. We use fittings that hold and we check that the joint is dry before we leave.
Dishwasher under an existing counter
We set the high loop or air gap, tie into the sink drain correctly, level the unit to the door, and test a fill-and-drain cycle. A dishwasher that drains into the disposal the wrong way will backflow. We stay until the first fill is dry.
Range, cooktop, wall oven, and gas hookup
Electric ranges need the right receptacle and a seated cord. Gas ranges need a sound shutoff and a new flex line when the old one is dated or kinked. We quote the hookup before we open a valve. Wall ovens and cooktops are fitment jobs — we confirm the cutout before we commit to a same-day hang.
Haul-away and the mess a drop-off leaves
We remove the old washer, dryer, fridge, range, or dishwasher when you book it with the install, and we leave the kitchen or laundry tidy. If the building requires a booking for the freight elevator, tell us that window so the old unit can go out the same day.
What to expect on the visit
Send the model numbers, the delivery date, and photos of the existing hookups — water shutoff, 240-volt receptacle, gas valve, and dryer vent. In a condo, send the elevator booking rules. We will tell you before the visit if the site is not ready.
On site we inspect, quote any extra parts (whip, water line, vent transition), then install, level, and test. If we cannot complete a safe hookup, we stop and tell you what the plumber or the electrician has to finish first.
Cost and when to repair or replace
Installation is quoted as a hookup job, not a repair. Diagnosis language still applies if we find a failed shutoff or a dead receptacle — you hear that before we leave a new machine half-connected. Haul-away is priced with the install when you ask for it.
A store’s “we’ll install it” often means they set the unit in the opening. If that drop-off skipped a step in the manufacturer’s instructions — no level, no water test, no vent — we correct it. We cannot restore a warranty the store already affected, but we can leave the machine installed the way it should have been.
| Repair | Replace |

| Installation is not a repair — we still inspect the existing hookups so a new unit is not sitting on a failed valve or crushed vent. | If the old shutoff, electrical, or vent is unsafe, we flag it before we leave a new appliance running. |
Brands we service
Bosch, Miele, Wolf, Sub-Zero, Thermador, Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, and GE kitchen and laundry packages are regular installs. High-end packages may need two techs or a longer window — say so when you book.
If the new unit fails on the first cycle, that becomes a repair visit on the matching service page. We still stand behind the hookup we did.

What homeowners say
“Edi phoned to let me know what time he expected to arrive and was on time. He repaired our dishwasher quickly and efficiently, explained what was wrong, and kept me informed throughout.”
“My 7-year-old washer was not draining. Edward arrived within two hours, found a failed drain pump, and repaired it the same day. Professional diagnosis and a fair price.”
