Privacy policy

Appliance Handyman (109 Fernstaff Court, Concord, ON L4K 3M1) collects personal information only to book and complete appliance repair or installation. In Ontario that work is a commercial activity, so we follow Canada’s PIPEDA rules: collect what we need, say why, keep it only as long as the job requires, and let you see or correct it.

What we collect

From the booking form we take name, phone, optional email, city or address, the appliance, the problem description, and an optional photo of a model sticker or error code. If you call, we write down the same details so we can dispatch a technician. We do not ask for payment-card numbers on this site.

Why we use it

We use that information to call you back, schedule the visit, bring the right part, send a quote, and honour the 3-month service warranty. Submitting the form or leaving a voicemail is your consent for that use. We do not sell lists and we do not use booking details for unrelated marketing.

Who sees it

Booking emails go to our office inbox at info@appliancehandyman.ca through Mailgun. The website is hosted on Vercel. Those companies store data on servers that may be outside Canada. We also use Google and HomeStars only if you choose to leave a public review on their sites. Technicians see the job details they need to do the work.

How long we keep it

We keep a job record through the warranty window and as long as Ontario tax or warranty follow-up requires. Photos are used to identify the machine; we do not post them. When a record is no longer needed we delete or archive it.

Your rights

You can ask what we have on file, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent for a booking that has not been dispatched. Email info@appliancehandyman.ca or call 416-800-9206. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

This site

Hosting may log page views and standard technical data (browser, IP) to keep the site running. We do not run advertising pixels on the booking form. See also our cancellation policy and terms of use.
